BARNETS ALLIERADE
Allie acts as an ally to children who need extra support from society. Together with Allie and the agency Tegel & Hatt, our mission was to produce a film reaching the adults who meet these children in their daily lives, from teachers and social workers to police officers and coaches. The goal was to create a story that doesn’t just inform but hits you in the gut, showing the difference one adult can make.
The concept takes place in an elevated reality inside the mind of 13-year-old Adam. He sits alone in a dark parking garage, trapped in the feeling of being a burden. To visualize the weight of bureaucracy, we had documents from authorities literally rain down around him. The sound design is central here. By weaving together arguments, sirens, and accusing voices, we built an intense experience of his internal isolation.
We used strong contrasts in our craftsmanship to bring the narrative to life. The garage was chosen to establish a world that initially feels hard and empty. The lighting starts with a cold, sterile tone but shifts to a warmer, more naturalistic style at the turning point. Through planned camera movements and tight framing, we created an intimacy that forces the viewer to meet Adam’s gaze. We are grateful for the trust to tell a story showing that the way out of darkness is sometimes just one question away.
