Chevaleresk season 1
Chevaleresk, Season 1, is a talk show where a panel explores certain topics that are divided into chapters, just like a book. The panel’s permanent members throughout the season are Måns Zelmerlöw (artist and TV presenter) and Alexander Wiberg (a connoisseur with an MBA in economics) – a dynamic duo indeed. Together with their guests, they explore a wide range of topics that thousands of trendy men are interested in today.
Since the hipster hype was in full swing when Chevaleresk was launched, the programme hit the bull’s eye; it was entertaining, it had the right faces and it covered all the topics of interest to this audience e.g., dress code violations, great whiskies, loafer trends or how the gentleman’s game should be played. Moreover, by making our sponsors a major part of the content, through what is known as integrated sponsorship, viewers are equally informed about such things as etiquette rules, and brands that provide the viewer with what her or she is seeking.
Chevaleresk was very well received. It attracted a large audience and many sponsors. Season 2 got a green light, and we decided to offer sponsors more brand integration, by offering “more reel for the buck”, e.g., when Måns and Alexander enjoyed a perfect cup of LAVAZZA, we shot several separate episodes in connection with this part of the programme. By doing so, LAVAZZA got a lot of great content for a relatively low price, since it was Måns and Alexander who asked the questions and literally smelled the coffee.
