Verisure Heritage

ONE STEP AHEAD SINCE 1988

Together with Prime Weber Shandwick we created a brand film for Verisure that draws on the company’s heritage and the people behind the ideas. Our ambition was to tell the story of safety across time and generations, in a way that feels close, relatable, and timeless.

The story begins in the late 80s, when the first alarms were installed, and moves into today’s everyday life where 5,7 million homes are protected. Through the eyes of one family, we portray the feeling of safety, from a young girl riding her bike home to her 80s house to the same woman in the present day, now with her own family.

The products are present, integrated naturally into the environment rather than highlighted, while subtle red accents are woven in to strengthen the connection to the brand.

Our challenge was to create a transition between the eras that felt natural and seamless. Through careful work with lighting, set design, and pre-programmed camera movements we were able to weave past and present together in an organic way. The visual language is built on soft natural light, warm tones, and the feeling of a home full of everyday life.

To provide a complete picture of Verisure we also wanted to show the people behind the technology. In the film we meet the engineers in the lab and the operators at the alarm center, those who make sure the technology works and that help is always close at hand. In this way the film reflects the different dimensions of safety, from innovation to presence in daily life.

The result is a film that ties together Verisure’s history with their present, showing why they continue to stay one step ahead.
