Documenting a construction process is often about timelines and materials. However, for Eslövs Bostads AB, the project with Spritfabriken in Eslöv went deeper: preserving a historical soul while creating homes for the future. Together, we produced a documentary series that brings to life both the history and the engineering required for a modern reconstruction.
The goal was to create an emotional connection to the building’s unique heritage, with a special focus on repurposing materials. By closely following the project manager, the series gained a human presence that gave viewers an authentic look into the daily challenges. To reflect the character of Spritfabriken, we developed a varied visual style. By blending modern documentary footage with Super 8-inspired sequences, we created a visual bridge between the factory’s industrial past and its new chapter.
The result is an engaging story with strong dramaturgy that does more than just inform. The series has become a powerful tool for generating interest in the upcoming apartments, successfully creating a lasting connection between EBO’s project and future tenants.
