Studio Taboo
In March 2023, Essity, a global hygiene and health company, launched “Studio Taboo,” a global project that we had the honor of producing in collaboration with Prime Weber Shandwick. The project aimed to create heartwarming, inspirational, and educational films featuring 8 individuals who share unique stories about their conditions, as well as physical and mental barriers, and solutions that improve their daily well-being.
The hero film covers a range of conditions, including heavy bleeding during menstruation, incontinence, lymphedema, chronic wounds, endometriosis, and joint pain. Through heartfelt and emotional individual interviews, we delve beneath the surface to learn more about these conditions and hear the personal stories of people who represent millions of others going through similar challenges.
The project includes a 12-minute hero film, 8 individual interviews, and 8 teasers, as well as multiple language versions, making it one of our largest deliveries to date (2023).
We’re proud to have had the opportunity to work on this project for almost an entire year and produce such important films on a topic that matters so much.
